About 10 years ago I gave him on two cash cheques amounting to MYR 75,000.00 for an investment with his company. He told me to keep this a secret and and that I should trust him. I was naive enough then to believe him. This went on for a long time and the company was doing OK. To cut a long story short, he has lately not answered my emails or phone calls. I tried calling his house and his wife said that he is always away in Bangkok doing his business there now. I have now retired and needed some money and he seems not interested to even reply or explain to me why my share is now not available to me. The company has been liquidated now but there is some equity left and I am entitled to 10% of the fund.<br />What can I do now? He simply refused to answer my calls and when he did so he hung up as soon as he knew it was me. I can forgive him if he can simply tell me that he has no money left to pay me back. But not answering me by email or phone is really keeping me sleepless. What should I do? I have no written proof to show that he has taken the money from me. I don't know if my cash cheques can still be retrieved from the Bank since it has been already 10 years.
